While the departure of Ruth Bader Ginsburg this year left a big hole in the hall of fame of inspiring women leaders, her life and work will continue to inspire all of us for years to come.
2020 has seen a lot happening around the world. As this year comes to its sunset, the top five women leaders in my list come down to (in no specific order):
(1) Kamala Harris: First African-American, first woman and first Asian-American to becomeVice President-elect
(2) Ivanka Trump: Advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, focused on the education and economic empowerment of women and job creation
(3) Greta Thunberg: Took a year-long break from education to try and force world leaders to take action on climate change
(4) Sarah Fuller: First woman to play during a regular-season Power 5 college football game
(5) Rani Rampal: Indian Khel Ratna (woman hockey player) Awardee
