This year on International Women’s Day, March 08, 2021, let us celebrate the #ChooseToChallenge theme.
While there is still much to be done and to achieve and we choose to challenge gender bias and inequality further, let us not forget the ones who helped open closed doors to propel us to where we stand today!
As a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend whose life has been influenced by their courage as they #choosetochallenge, I thank (to name a few):
For generations of women, the social, economical, cultural, political barriers have existed in ways one cannot count on tip of the fingers.
We should seek inspiration from these pioneer ladies and look at opportunities #choosetochallenge for a brighter future of our next generation so that they no longer need to!
