Today is another day that will go down in history. An epic reversal, Supreme Court has overturned Roe vs. Wade, the decision that had been in place for nearly 50 years and provided a constitutional right to abortion.
With the overturn, States are now free to outlaw abortion. This overturns a woman’s choice.
Regulating abortions now lies with state governments. Today’s ruling is expected to lead to abortion bans in roughly half the states in America (according to the Associated Press)
The Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion which was held for almost half a century no longer exists.
